Please, be our guest! Here are just a few policies to be mindful of:

Since we are a small Bed and Breakfast, we assign a specific room for your specific dates when you initially make your reservation. Therefore, we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy since no-shows have a huge impact on our business. We thank you for understanding our No Cancellation Policy. Please carefully read the description of the Inn prior to booking a stay or call the Inn Keeper for more detailed information. We have a strict cancellation policy but would like to avoid cancellations at all cost to make the experience most enjoyable for our guests.

Please note prior to booking that all guest rooms are located on the second floor of the Inn and the main level of the Inn operates as a Tea Room. One night stay reservations must be paid in full at time of booking. Reservations longer than one night require the first-night stay as a deposit at the time of booking. All reservations will be paid in full with the credit card on file within seven days prior to check in. Extended stays of five days or more require payment in full at the time of booking.

All reservations are required to be made at least 24 hours in advance. We do not accept last minute walk-ins. Reservations are taken between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm.

600 Main participates with several on-line third party booking sites. In the event any third party sites make an error in standard room rates, room availability, hotel occupancy or state sales tax charges, and/ or any other reservation details, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation within 24 hours of booking.

These third party sites may not collect a deposit, so the cancellation fees above may not apply to your reservation if booked online. Reservations made on third-party booking sites require a credit card to remain on file with the Inn once the confirmation is received. The Inn strongly encourages all future guests to call the Inn direct and book with the Inn Keeper or to book directly on www.600MainNJ.com to avoid any issues with third party booking reservations.

We have a no cancellation policy on one night stays. The one-night auto pay for all reservations is non-refundable. Should you require canceling a stay more than one night within 30 days of the reservation, the reservation may be canceled and the balance is forfeited. All deposits and payments for reservations we have taken the rooms of the market are non-refundable.

The Inn recommends to all guests to obtain travel insurance while making plans to cover any unexpected emergencies.

We can issue no refunds nor make any changes on gift certificates. We are not responsible for weather or any other unfortunate event beyond our control.

If you do not arrive for your reservation, i.e. no-show, the full amount of the reservation due is non-refundable and may not be used as a "balance" to re-schedule. Some dates throughout the year may have a minimum stay requirement. On these dates, you must agree to stay for the minimum number of nights required.

Guests may pay with cash, traveler’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Rates are for single or double occupancy. NJ State Sales Tax and Hotel Occupancy Tax are not included in the room rates.

Our rooms can only accommodate up to two guests. However, we do have a cot available for an extra fee. Please reserve cot at the time of booking. The cost of the cot rental is $25.00 per night.

Our elegant Victorian teas are not included in our B&B rates. However, if you or your group is interested in scheduling a Victorian Tea, please book in advance. Private and group dinners may also be arranged with the Innkeeper.

Check-in is from 3 to 5 p.m. Please enter your estimated time of arrival at the time of booking your reservation. Special arrangements may be made for check-ins after 5 pm by calling the Innkeeper prior to your arrival. If you need to check-in earlier, let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Early and Late check-ins are subject to a $25.00 check in fee if the check-in times do not occur during the normal check-in times.

Check-out is no later than 11 a.m. Please remember to leave your room key with us prior to departing. We are not responsible for personal items left behind or stolen. Please check your room thoroughly when you are leaving and lock the door behind you. You are given one key to your suite upon your arrival. If your key is lost or damaged, there is a $50.00 locksmith charge to replace the key.

A full breakfast is served between 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in our Tea Room. With advance notice, we may be able to accommodate an earlier breakfast time. Please advise in advance of any special dietary needs or allergies. There is also a coffeemaker and mini refrigerator located on the second floor for your use. Traveling guests may invite family members or friends not staying at the Inn for breakfast for the cost of $20.00 per person and arrangements may be made with the Innkeeper in advance.

We’re sure the turn-of-the-century residents of 600 Main enjoyed their cigars, cigarettes, and pipes, but for safety and health reasons, no smoking is allowed in the house or on the porch. There will be a $200.00 charge if any evidence of smoke is detected in your suite or any part of the house and you regrettably will be asked to leave. Please note, vapor cigarettes may set off the alarm at the Inn, so please refrain from using such devices in the Inn.

As you are guests in our home, we ask that you please respect the Bed and Breakfast and all the belongings in it. Damages incurred to the bed and breakfast and/or your suite during your stay, i.e., furnishings, stained bed linens or towels, rugs, lost/missing items, etc., will be charged to your credit card on file.

To ensure all our guests enjoy their time with us, the Innkeeper must approve guests of booked guests. No additional guests may stay on premises past 10 pm without prior permission from the Innkeeper.

We are delighted to accommodate groups. To book 3 or more rooms, we require a minimum of 10 days notice. If you would like the entire inn, payment in full as a deposit is required at time of booking.

Parking is free in a well-lit parking lot conveniently located parking lot in the immediate rear of the Inn. Guest may utilize the front circular driveway at the time of check-in.

Room service is available by request daily. As part of our Eco-Green commitment, we will not change the bed linens, towels, or robes in a guest room unless the guests stay with us at least three nights. However, we want all of our guests to have the best experience possible and will happily replace these items more frequently if specifically requested.
